Welcome all AFR fans!
Since nearly everyone is putting up a blog these days, I figured it was time for AFR (that's Aaron Fox & the Reliables, for those of you who don't know us.......and nice to meet you!) to have one. This is a totally experimental thing, so I apologize to all of you in advance, but the plan here is to keep all of our Reliable fans up to speed. This can range anywhere from BIG NEWS (album releases, tour announcements, etc.) to SMALL NEWS (what Rick had for dinner last night and if it was tasty). More importantly, we wanted to create a site for our fans to share any commentary or suggestions. We are always grateful for any helpful feedback you would like to share with us, whether it's positive or negative. Of course, we prefer positive. :)
After a nice little stream of shows in November/December, we are practicing like mad for our first studio album at JoyRide Recording Studio. Our first session takes place the weekend of January 9, 2010. We are really excited to create a "professional-level" product for you and can't wait for everyone to hear it. We humbly thank Bob and Patty for letting us practice in their basement. So far, the neighbors haven't called the cops!
Other than that, we are all scrambling to get through, I mean (clearing throat), enjoy the Holidays! Soon after, we will continue to rock out our plans for 2010. To all of our loyal fans and supporters......have a lovely Holiday season and thank you so much for listening!
